Dump Truck Driver Charged with Hit and Run
It is being reported that in Boca Raton dump truck driver has been arrested in regards to a hit and run that took place on I-95 on Friday, January 21.
The accident, which took place late morning, left one Florida state trooper injured.
64-year-old Roberto Carmona-Pena was driving his 2000 Sterling dump truck when he veered from his lane into the path of 30-year-old Ryan D. Burns' 2009 Toyota Camry. Burns then swung to the left and into the cruiser of 52-year-old Theodore Menner and his cruiser.
The accident left Burns with minor injuries and Menner with more serious injuries.
Carmona-Pena is now facing felony charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
